The tree creature seems to have begun hosting dinner parties within the cave. The types to attend these parties come from all backgrounds, leaders of nations, monsters incapable of speech, homeless and peasants, high profile merchants, and everything in between. I still can't tell what the true purpose is behind them. Is it really a religious celebration? Perhaps an attempt to spread influence? Regardless, the success they have seen is astounding, do they not know what the tree creature has done?

I hear news of its nation forging alliances with many of the powers in the heart of the continent. It seems likely, I saw after one of their dinner parties a few diplomats made their way down into the heart of the central tree. I was unable to follow them, so I don't know exactly what they discussed, but it lends credence to the rumors. For what purpose are these alliances being forged? I worry for the future.
